Ruby Noire's books are not cheap. $9 is the usual going rate (she may be in Austrailia, I don't know - taxes are high and an author has to make a living - I know I try). However, her My Cowpoke and Me is a great, almost romantic take on hucows. It's been through a few cover changes since it came out - but don't let the pc cover fool you - there is plenty of heat!
